The Why Behind it All.
Sacred Leaf Botanicals was born from a lifetime of what Founder and CEO Zoey, lovingly called “mommee teas.” Growing up, her mom, Wendee, always turned to the apothecary cabinet before the medicine cabinet- soothing, strengthening, and healing with what nature already provides. Those early practices stayed with her as she grew older. She found herself doing the same when it came to illnesses, cramps, or stomach aches- reaching for the plants that have supported generations before us.

When the Venture Launch opportunity arrived, Faye and Avery joined to craft and share that same feeling and Zoey knew it was time to share these “mommee teas” with the world. What began as a family instinct has grown into a heartfelt mission: to reconnect people with remedies that are gentle, ancient, and truly effective.

Holistic healing itself is rooted in this same philosophy. Long before modern medicine, our ancestors relied on the natural world as their first source of wellbeing. Holistic traditions view the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected, and believe true healing comes from supporting the whole person, not just the symptoms. Herbal tea is one of the oldest expressions of that practice. Each plant carries unique properties, and when blended intentionally, they work in harmony with your body’s own wisdom.

At Sacred Leaf Botanicals, every blend is crafted with that history in mind. Our teas honor the lineage of herbalists, healers, and everyday families who trusted the earth long before pharmaceuticals existed. These remedies worked then because they supported what the body already understands, and they still work now for the very same reason.

Crafted with intention and guided by spirituality, our blends are made with organic herbs and a deep respect for the power of Mother Nature. Zoey's goal is to help you feel grounded, nourished, and connected, just as she did with every cup her mom made.

What is Venture Launch
Venture Launch is a 6 month final project in the Marketing & Entrepreneurship bachelors program we are in, where students are given the challenge to create real products and sell them to real customers for real money.

It is a challenge to combine everything we have learned in the past year and a half into an effective, profitable business and put our skills to the test (Quite incredible, right?).
